European Herring Gull on Llandudno (north Wales) walkway
European Herring Gull, tucked away with fly on wing, Llandudno Pier
Eagles, hawks and owls are often described as "rapacious" because they hunt for live prey. This European Herring Gull was also labeled "rapacious" after it stole my wife's muffin from her hand immediately after purchase. Crumbs are on the beak and railing, proving guilt.
